Johannes married Anna Maria Detweiler about 1732. (Anna Maria Detweiler was born in 1715 in Lower Salford, Pennsylvania, died on 18 Jan 1767 and was buried in Salford Mennonite Cemetery, Harleysville, Pennsylvania.)
Marriage Notes:
Heinrich and Johannes Klemmer arrived at Philadelphia September 5, 1730 on the ship "Alexander and Ann". Johannes (John) Clemmer settled in Salford Township where he owned 100 acres of land on which he paid quit rent prior to 1734. It is presumed that they were brothers. John died in 1737. Henry Clemmer and John Detwiler signed the bond of the widow, Ann (nee Detwiler) Clemmer as the administrator of his estate under date of December 24, 1737.
