Noted events in his life were: • faith. He was a member of the Great Swamp Mennonite church where he married his wife. • Immigration, 1717. He immigrated with me in 1717. • Naturalization, 1729. 728 Jacob Klemmer of Richland, Jacob Sauder, Philip Keisinger, John Drissel petioned the Assembly to be naturalized (so they could pass their property on to their children) • Petition, 1730. 728 In 1730 he petitioned the governor along with others from his community for the building of a road from the new meetinghouse to the county line, so that they could travel to Philadelphia on the Montgomery Road. • Petition, 1734. 728 In 1734, he signed a petition along with others to divide Milford Township into two towns. • will, 1750. He mentions his brothers Christian and Johan Jacob Klemmer in his will. His sons Christian and Valentine were named as the executors of his will in 1750. Witnesses to his will were Jacob. Johannes and Barbara Funk. Jacob married Mrs. Unknown Clymer about 1713. (Mrs. Unknown Clymer was born about 1690 and died about 1755.) |
