2. A list of prisoners that were incarcerated on September 29, 1710 for their faith included Gertrud Rugsegger and Barbara Ruegsegger. Gertrud and Barbara are both listed as being in the hospital section of the prison. Barbara Ruegsegger who was from Diesbach, Switzerland was placed on a ship for Amsterdam as a prisoner. She escaped from the ship at Breisach along with a Katherine Ruegsegger
3. The Annabaptist were known for being industrious, honest, and hard workers. They never participated in the use of profanity, swearing, hard liquor or other deeds of “the flesh.” They worked hard to maintain peaceful relations with our fellowmen, they were obedient to the government, and they approached life with a religious intensity
