Noted events in his life were: • Moved, 1836. We moved to Clarion County, Pennsylvania where I worked as a land agent for Richard Peters the Philadelphia Land Speculator. • Owned. I owned a woolen mill in Berks County, Pennsylvania • purchase, 1834. I purchased the land that in 1804 a Thomas Morgan had squatted on and made improvements upon. Jacob married Veronica Shelly, daughter of Christian Shelly and Susanna Taylor, about 1787. (Veronica Shelly was born on 13 Feb 1767 and died on 29 Apr 1852 in Clarion County, Pennsylvania.) |
