• fled, 1740. In 1740, I fled from Switzerland to the home of friends that lived near Kerbach, Germany. I was being persecuted by the Church of Switzerland for being a Mennonite. • ordained. I was ordained a minister in the Mennonite Denomination while living in Germany. • Widowed, Bef 1744. Following the death of my first wife, I decided to immigrate to the Pennsylvania Colony. I came to the colony in the company of my widowed mother, my sister and three brothers: Jacob, William and Henry. We sailed on the ship, "Muscliff Galley". • Ministered. I was one of the pastors in the Springfield Mennonite Meetinghouse in Buck County, Pennsylvania. ![]() Peter married Magdalena Clymer, daughter of Christian Clymer and Barbara Unknown, on 28 May 1752.
